Vocals
Meghan McKown Equally at home in jazz, blues, classical and rock, Meghan McKown brings her own fresh approach to everything she sings. Her tone ranges from rich and soulful to clear and pristine. A versatile vocalist, she possesses outstanding control of her instrument. Meghan has performed with the legendary Jon Hendricks, as well as other great jazz talents including bassist Rodney Whitaker and trombonist/composer Wycliffe Gordan.
Guitar
Eric Klotz holds a bachelors and masters in music performance from Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he studied jazz with Glenn Ginn, a University of North Texas graduate, and Dan Phillips, a Berklee College of Music/Northwestern University
graduate. Eric has been privileged to perform in a variety of contexts such as rock coverbands, jazz/fusion groups, solo classical, and studio session work. He has also been fortunate to teach guitar as the Adjunct Guitar Instructor at innesota State University Moorhead, through various music stores, and currently maintains a private teaching studio. John Garvey founded Rio Bamba in 2005. He has played a wide variety of styles and worked with a wide variety of musicians from John Sinclair (MC5) to Jim Belushi. Venues include Park West, Ambassador East, Wrigley Field, Navy Pier, Chambers, Cuatro, Custer Street Fair, Joe's, and Katerinas.
